Whats a cheap easy way to temp dye my hair?

i want to do the tips of my hair or the bottom layer w/ temp hair dye. should i use koolaid/jello mix? (if so how should i do it) or buy a bottle of temp hair dye at hottopic? (i have brown hair its on the lighter side i guess) or color dye used for liek cookies and icing? i on't want it to make a big mess everywhere. and i don't want it to last forever, few weeks would be nice.

Get some L'oreal Color Pulse.It's a tempoary foam haircolor.Keep it on for 30 minutes if you want it to be more vibrant than subtle.Herbal Essences also has a foam temporary color, but I've never tried it yet.The L'oreal one is great, %26amp; it makes your hair softer %26amp; shinier, too.I've used (and loved) the Chilled Plum.Good Luck!

umm... koolaid or jello is nOT going to work... buy a temporary dye from the drugstore. OR anywhere else. Just DON't use at home products like colour dye from icings.. none of that is going to work.

Manic Panic. washes out in like 2 weeks. altho NOTHING will work unless the parts you want coloured is BLONDE first.

koolaid straight up man. just put a tiny bit of water in the powder, making it kind of a thick cream? but kool-aid is permanent, so...just get manic panic or something, cause that crap washes out after the first few washes.

Oh wait! I used food dye once to dye my hair pink, and it came out in a couple of washes, so you could try that?
