Here's 2 pics, they're not the best but they both have somewhat of choppy layers done my razoring. Does anyone (hopefully a proffessional) have any tips for doing this? My hair is chin-length so I only want about 2 inches of layers because my hair is currently one boring length. Of course, I don't need anything perfct done.

Well, since your hair is chin length I will tell you in advance it'll look waaaay shorter than expected. So prepare to feel as if you have no hair or boy hair until you fully get used to it. I suggest you get an experienced stylist that specializes in razor cuts. Its a lengthy process and is best done on healthy wet hair. After it's just maintance with wax and texturizing products.

Okay ...DO NOT do this yourself the razor technique is a hard thing to master. You do not look like you have naturally straight hair all the way and your hair may frizz a little more with the razor. Go get someone to help you with that plz. I would hate for you to walk around chopped up!

I do my razoring myself, but it was VERY hard in the beginning. I have had some ****** up cuts, and thats what it took to learn. It would be best to get it done professionally.
