I have really long straight black hair,with no layers no nothing and I would like a hair style/cut, something different but I still want my long hair..

can somebody help me..pleeease!!???!!!

Electric blue slices in black hair look really striking. Also look at getting a blunt fringe and some feathering down the front of your face. This way you can keep the length but it will look totally different - especially if you ever stick the old rollers in to make it wavier.

Have a big blunt fringe, it normally looks good with black hair. Also you could have subtle blue highlights. It would help if you had a piccy!

If you want to keep your length, I think you should add some colour. Highlights are great.

If dying isnt your thing, then layers always give a little more texture in your hair and it looks nice if you tie it up aswell as nice when you wear it down.

I would say get layers and maybe big waves if your face is round but if it's not just stick to getting layers because it adds volume and a little bit of flare.

it depends on the texture and thickness of the hair. and your face shape. you really can't do alot with hair unless it's at least shoulder length u can layer it. but sometimes it looks choppy especially on black hair or blonde every cut shows. so make sure to get a good consultation and look at pics with the same face shape and hair as u. katie holmes haircut is really cute and in. it may be too short for u but try a longer version of a bob. and go to a good hairdresser

adding side bangs + volumize your hair (big not thick) and get some choppy layers will definitely give a nice different look. always emphasize to your hairdresser that you do NOT want it short as they could easily forgot that u want style and still maintain your length.

Plus, if u get choppy layers, you can really do a lot with it for variety. eg. curling the ends with hot iron etc. send me a message if u do go for it and i perhaps can give u tips on getting different variety from the haircut. :)

i would get it layered and maybe some color like pink or blonde highlights through it to brigthen it up and a fringe in aswell xx
