I just got long layers and my hair is also straight. Should I get my hair cut? If so how short. And I also want a style even if I do or don't get my hair cut. Can u guys also give me some easy and awsome hairstyles? Either some kind or perm, some kind or hair cut, or a hairstyle that u put up urself, ect. Thanks!!!

That length is perfectly fine. You should only get a haircut if your hair is down to the middle of your back, or if you really like short hair. Personally, I think shorter hair is better when it's straight. Wavy hair is only good on longer hair.

Hey, I like that hairstyle but if your looking for a change try layers with highlights in it. A full or side fringe will create a different look and also where i live the latest thing is called a Mullet. which is lots of hair at the top- short and choppy and long thin hair at the bottom. Go with what you want. This is only a suggestion.

i think ur hair is great but if you want to change i suggest u add highlights u get it layered and choose carefully on how short so u dnt regret it afterwards ask family and friends for advice it can help and if u do want a change dnt make it too crazy just so u stay normal depends wat kind of personality u got funky or more shy but if u do want a reali big change go with something totally opposite ur hairstyle now, something crazy and not wat u see everyday but i think ur hair is pretty good. i hope that helps

Ok my hair is thick and wavy. There are some natural curls underneath too. My hair has long layers in it and come just below my shoulders. I know that i should never have it short because it will go poofy. So im growing it. But i always have the temptation to straighten it so I can have it down. I really can't straighten it anymore otherwise it will go dry. I think I should learn to get used to my natural hair. I would really like to keep it down all the time and not tie it up. So any tips.

my daughters hair is just like yours and she loves her hair now(usted to hate it) but we went to the beauty shop and had it layerd then straightned with a hot iron straightner we bought a good one it was about 75.00 now she does it herself but it helped for the beautition to show her how be sure to go to a beauty supply store and buy shampoo and conditoner that doesnt have achocal(mispelled) in it like so soft thats one brand also a protectent for straighting so you dont damage your hair and be sure to not leave the straightner on your hair too long just slide down hair several times NOT slow ones you dont want to burn your hair just keep going threw your hair and it should be soft and sleek if you want to wear it curley just wash

i have the same problem you do... what i did is first i got a perm so that when i couldnt do anything with my hair, i could wear it curly. then, i started working on my damaged hair. start off by doing the hot oil treatments (they work wonders!). then buy the suave sleek line and use it every night. it will make your hair soft and not so dry at the ends. now i buy straightening repair lotion. you smooth it on your hair before you straighten and it doesnt harm your hair. i do all of that every day except the hot oil. (i did that until my hair was in better shape. now i only do it once a month or so) my hair is straight, shiny, and soft and i can fix it!

what i would do is get the middle section thinned out. keep the lenght on the top layers and keep the actual lenght.then for styling i would straighten the fringe and scrunch in some leave-in conditioner to the rest

I know exactly how you feel! I have extremely curly hair and it frizzes like crazy sometimes, so I have to put so much gel in it since it's so thick. Some days I love my curls, but for the most part I hate them. I still haven't found a way to make my curls look spectacular except to add some hair accessories like a cute headband or something.

I, however, do straighten my hair a lot. So if you do decide to do that, use a moisturizing shampoo everyday. That will help keep your hair from drying out from the straightener. I use tresemme mosturizing shampoo and conditioner and it works really well!

If your hair goes straight, then go ahead and get bangs in the front, otherwise if your is wavy or curly, it will look too poofy. I think a style like Katherine McPhee will be gorgeous. Ask for long layers, or just have her trim off the split ends on the layers you already have.

Hmm, it sounds like too many colors, it might clash. Be very careful when dying hair black, it can clash against a lot of other colors, it's pretty harsh, try a darker brown.

well...a blow dryer really helps. But the next best thing would probably be to take a shower in the morning because then your hair wont get ruined from you sleeping on it. If not and you just go to bed with it wet, I would say that you should get a really good straightener to make the layers nicer in the morning. Good luck=)

Dying over Bleached Hair?

This year ive dyed my hair Black, Purple, Red, Darkbrown, Lightbrown and a Chocolate Brown (not at the hair dressers)

About 4 weeks ago, i bleached the top layers of my hair, and some of it worked but other parts turned yellow and orange. I got in trouble at school for having 2 toned hair and i need to change it. I hate going to the hair dressers and i wanna dye it myself. if i put just like black do-it-yourself hair dye in will it work? im not worried about my drying out because its naturaly very oily and the peroxide didnt stop it from being oily so i think its ok.

Yes it will, black is a really strong colour for hair dyes...and I think even dark brown would work (only for permanent ones, not temporary).
