Having trouble dying my hair?

I used to have the underneath layer of my hair green, and it was dyed with a semi permanent dye, that ended up staying for a LONG time without fading

I recently dyed my hair light brown, but it hardly covered the green, i waited a bit and re-dyed it, but the green still shows

is there anything i can do, other than bleach the lower layer, so that i can dye my hair without the green showing, or is there a good brand of dye that i should use

If you absolutely don't want to bleach or strip your hair you are going to have to dye it with a "dark brown". Not black though! (the cheapest kind you can find in the store is about $3 a box...revlon)

The dark brown should cover the green and then you can dye a light brown over it and it will work that way...If you go black though the light brown will make it reddish orangeish. You only need to use the cheap Revlon dye!

Just use a rinse your natural color, and let it grow out...

just use a haircolor remover kit and start fresh otherwise anything you do will come out muted.

ur gonna have 2 bleach it out. though there is this stuff at sally's that removes color. i can not remember exactly what it is called.

the only thing i can think of without getting it bleached first is to either go to a specialist or dye it black. doode.ur screwed.

you need to bleach the green it will only take a few mins then you need to put some pigment in what was the green like a red colour then dye it all brown
