How should I wear my hair to my school's dance?

My school's having a dance on friday, and my hair ALWAYS looks the same. I have short, dark brown hair that's layered, and I wear it straight down and flat ironed every day.

Generally, it's too short to tie up, but does anyone know of some good hairstyles for putting up really short hair?

you should do 3 high pigtails. 1 on top and 2 on the sides. thatd b quite sexy

or just try a headband lol

try putting it in short low pigtails.

However you like it best, don't worry about what anyone else thinks.

The best option is to go to a hairstylist. They are always such a help. But if you cannot afford that then turn to your own curling iron and curl it in tight little curls then pin it up like in the middle with 3/4 bobby-pins

instead of parting it in the middle you should part it on the side and then hold it back the larger side with a super fancy, pretty clip. Kind of like Gwynie Paltrow did when she had a bob hair cut.

Head bands are in right now, so you could try out different ones. You could also flip the ends of your hair up with a curling iron or flat iron. Just do a little experimenting after school sometime this week before the dance. Good Luck!!

I understand where you are coming from. I wear my hair the same everyday as well. I have medium length curly hair but my Friends have hair similar to yours. They usually wear it pulled back in a poof.held with bobby pins which looks super cute. You should also try curling small sections of your hair with a curling iron. It would be very different from your usual and i guarantee you will get many complements. I hope you consider my advice and have fun at your dance. Good luck!
