I think that layers are GOOD. They create texture and if you get a rootlifting spray you get a lot more body rather than just plain, dull, straight hair. But sometimes if your hair is too thin than it makes your hair look thinner. The only bad thing about layers is alot of the time you HAVE to style it every day because that's what the layers are for.
