I have thick, wavy hair, and I'm thinking about getting it cut into graduated layers. Is this a good choice or should I just let it grow long? It is down to my mid-back.

My hair is like yours. Graduated layers will look great if you also get is cut using a razor and/or thinning shears. It'll take pounds off and your hair will be more manageable as well as having an effortless style.
