Dry hair in my bangs?

I have normal thick hair all around my head. But when it comes to my bangs, there's a layer of soft hair but under it on my hair line there's this small patch of dry/brittle hair. I cut it to regrow it but every time it comes back the same way. I always hide it under my bangs because I'm embarrassed.

I always straighten my hair, but I use heat protection all the time. I use Anti-breakage/anti-split end shampoo and conditioner by Tresemme. And the heat protection is by the same product.

How do I get rid of this problem?
