i have thick black hair. it's layered but you can't really tell cos it has to be long enough to be up in a pony tail. i dont put my hair down because i dont like it around my neck. can you share some styles of up-do s besides the bun and ponytail? pleasseeeee!! for your info, i've got an oval face and right parting.

my favourite updo of all times is the messy bun( you might even want to use some hair sticks for fun!) and french plaids. try doing it diagonally maybe? you also can consider a french knot. it's pretty classic. hope this helps!

you can try a sideways pony right behind one ear (in ur case the left side would be best against ur right part). there is also this funky style u can try. u take about 2-3inch sections of hair and twistwistwist into a coil which you then bobby pin down try to pin most section to the same centerpoint-it looks great-try it =)
