Honey, if you're only getting your haircut to impress your friends and bf, you shouldn't be getting it cut. However, if you want it cut because it makes you feel good, then go for it. I have thin hair too and it's slightly layered. I'm sure if you could find a good beautician, she could give you suggestions on the best way to cut it. Or you could get highlights or lowlights. It all depends on what you like though! :)

actually layers give thin hair some depth and makes it look a little thicker go to a good salon and get recommendations from the stylist i actually have a gay man who does my hair and he is a hair god but there are women who are just as good

i actually think that if you get layers it'll look fuller, like Jennie Garth (sorry better example doesn't come to mind) she has really stringy thin hair, but when layered, it adds dimension, try it, is just hair, it grows back and if it doesn't work out just ware it up till it grows.

Maybe a couple of hilites make it look fuller , just on top one or two shades lighter than your natural , have it layered , wash it with a bodying shampoo and conditioner that way when you blowdry it the lites will give the illusion of "fuller do" set with a light hair spray and go.

at my salon the lady said that layers is a good look for people with thin hair b/c it makes it look fuller!!!
