How can I fix my hair?

My hair is really- REALLY curly, and is really poofy, except, for right on top of my head- it is completely flat, no matter what I try to do (cut it shoter, volumizing products ect.)

I am cutting my hair soon, and I want to know if there is anyway that I can fix this.

Right now i have layers, and my hair is angeled so that it is shorter in the front, when it is curly it goes to my mid back- with the longest layer, and in the front, a little past my shoulders

This is how I want to cut my hair:

All one length- no angles, no layers... it will probably fall a little past my shoulders

And bangs, straight across, and coming from rounded not a triange (i have no better way of explaining it lol), and at the sides having them a little longer (I know, i will have to starighten them everyday =[ )

People are telling me that it will look bad because my hair is too curly.. what do you think?

if you want it better on the top of you r head you could try back combing, but its better not to rely on a straightener for your hairstyle, or you will be one of the girls on her asking "how do i repair my over straightened hair?" lol straightening sometimes is fine, but try not to rely on your straigtener..... speaking from experience... im one of the girls who is asking how to repiar damage... lol

u can grab your bangs and pull them back with a bobby pin and curl up ur hair

Try it and see how it looks. If it needs volume, just get some light layers cut into the shorter cut. It is so much easier to look after shorter hair.
