Extensions and hair recovery, help?

I had a very bad experience about a year ago with glued in extensions. These were not great lengths and were not gone at a reputable salon. I had them in for less than 2 months n when they were taken out, my hair was twice as thin as before the application. I recentley cut my hair and wear clip-ins just to make it look thicker. The outer layer of my hair seems to be fine but the inner layers and a spot in the back are rather short and sparse. I don't have any bald spots. I saw a dermatologist the other day and was told it should take about another year for my hair to fully recover, but that it will all grow back. I was wondering if anyone has been through this or something similar and what they did. I have been taking hairtopia supplements as well as GNC vitamins and washing my hair every other day. I can't go much longer since it takes a lot to give it volume. The products I currently use are Nexus volumizing shampoo %26amp; leave-in conditioner.

Extensions and hair recovery, help?

Something like that happened to me as well.

I have an addiction to dying my hair all the time. So...until recently I had to get alot of my hair cut off.

And its thin.

So, I'm using these products by Schwarzkopf.

They may be a tad bit expensive but they seriously work. My hair is definitely improving.

Here are the products, in case your interested:

Schwarzkopf Bona Cure Repair Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner

(They're sepreate bottles by the way).

Schwarzkopf Bona Cure Color Save Treatment .

I leave it in my hair for an hour. And rinse it out.

Good luck [:
