i have shoulder length hair with layers comin up to my ears, my hair is also quite thick and frizzy so i need a style that looks good and will last all night!

straighten it then put lots of hair spray in it should work as long as you have freeze hold =]good luck

Frizzy this time of year is a pain. If you want it to last all night, get a maximum hold mousse and run it through, then leave your hair down. Down hair is always flattering for a night out, and you won't have to worry about the strays that come out when your hair is thick. The mousse should keep it from going frizzy on you. The simpler you keep it for an all-night hairdo the better, cause the last thing you want to do is try to fix a fancy do in the ladies room halfway through the night.

Look through the salon style books for a style you like. Let a pro cut your hair %26amp; ask her to "thin your hair out" to get rid of all the extra bulk which can make your hair more manegeable. That will get rid of a lot of the dry, frizzy ends as well. Get your hair cut into shorter layers which will allow you keep a style in longer. As for length, of you don't want to lose any of it, at least get the ends trimmed. Get your ends trimmed every six weeks for healthier hair. For an all night long hold, use the "Freeze" hair spray by Aussie. One great spray. :)
