Hi! I have a problem with my hair... It's layered and usually it's a little shorter than shoulder-length, but when it grows longer, the ends which just touch my shoulders and back get kind of curled outward like the letter J, it makes my hair look a little frizzy around the ends... I guess it's not a clear description, but I'm not sure how to explain it... anyway, my hair is generally straight and rather fine (I wish it had a little more volume :( ) so it doesn't look good then. I always get my hair cut when that happens, but I'd really love to have longer hair than that... maybe even to mid back length.... so I need to know, will my hair stop curling outwards and looking frizzy at the ends when it gets longer? If not, is there some way to stop my hair from doing that? Thank you :)
My hair ends get kind of frizzy and J-shaped when it reaches shoulder length?
have u tried using a strightner with a heat protection spray or cream? just to make ur hair appear less frizzy. And you said you wanted more volume cut ur hair a little layerd to add more body to the top u could still grow out your hair and have the volume u want and to add a little more body u can use a blow dryer with a ceramic round brush at the crown of your hair.good luck:)

My hair does the exact same thing, it sucks. I just got mine cut to about 2 inches under chin length. I just thought my hair looked tacky. I could never get the ends to not look frizzy like that, it was just the ends and they ALWAYS curled out. Maybe they are split ends?? I dont know I never had any luck, maybe we are just two of the unlucky few that cant have long hair :(
